The man who insists on being a strong individualist always poses a threat to women. If he’s too much of a standout, he’s apt to attract an unusual amount of attention from other females. For the sake of harmony, the smart male with individualistic tendencies will play them down in courtship. He knows, the female of the species feels that the brightest plumage should be hers.
By suppressing those things women don’t like about them, most men are quickly able to succeed where they have failed before. Using sexual judo, they soon find the words of the deceased European to be wonderfully true: Women don’t want mink - they want men.
